4 good things

  1. Woke up extra early so I would have time to eat a little something, drink my coffee, and have some quality toilet time before the race. Usually I go for the extra sleep and then I’m not necessarily properly fueled.
  2. Did not try to keep up with any of my friends, just ran my own race, and felt great physically the entire race.
  3. Ran 13.1 miles and set a PR by 9 minutes!
  4. Did some snap circuit projects with Campbell even though I would have rather just laid around on the couch for the rest of the day.

I’ll write a race report tomorrow after I’ve had a little sleep. Wait, I think you’re still waiting for my Ragnar race report from a month ago. Hmmmm……..

4 good things

  1. Ate a healthy breakfast.
  2. Did not get the Krispy Kremes that were calling my name at Publix.
  3. Caught up on some DVR shows. This sounds dumb, but it was at 98% and I was starting to stress about it!
  4. Only had one beer tonight when I really wanted at least 5.

Lost another tooth this morning!

4 good things

  1. ate a healthy breakfast.
  2. went to BBC for the second time this week.
  3. crossed something off my to-do list today that has been nagging at me for weeks!
  4. stayed under my calorie limit for the day.

My previous “unusual personal situation” is thankfully resolved, so I can continue the challenge with renewed vigor! Hope all you Do Lifers are having a great week.

Baby Boot Camp

Went to my second class of the week this morning. Feels great to get back into it after being out of it for most of December and all of January. That class is what started me down this healthier living path and although I was getting bored with it over the fall, I missed it lately. All you moms of younger kids out there should check and see if there is a franchise near you. It is a fantastic workout that you don’t have to find childcare for. And yes, I did just end my sentence with a preposition.

4 good things

  1. Ate a healthy breakfast
  2. parked and walked to pick up Campbell instead of waiting in car line.
  3. jumped on the trampoline with the kids for 10 minutes (does that count as active recovery?)
  4. cleaned something today! Specifically, the glass on the bedroom French doors.

Planning on going to our new gym for the first time tomorrow morning when the puppy wakes us up at an ungodly hour. I have a lot of miles to catch up on for 100 mile February!

Hi Megan!

4 good things

  1. long story, but I ended up at DD for a late breakfast and I ended up getting a egg white flatbread sandwich instead of the big fat bagel with cream cheese which is what I really wanted.
  2. ate lunch with Campbell at school.
  3. did not eat dinner before my run, even though I love me some ravioli and I should be carb loading for the half this weekend.
  4. Ran at a fast pace (for me) with the group tonight.

4 good things

  1. ate a healthy breakfast.
  2. went to Baby Boot Camp for the first time in a month or so.
  3. ate a semi-healthy lunch.
  4. crossed a few things that have been lingering on my to-do list.

I need to make more lists. I have not been good about cleaning one thing 6 days a week, which was one of my goals for this month. Since I am not in the habit of cleaning every day, I never remember. Must print out my goals to stay on task!

My unusual personal issues are still hanging on, but I’m hoping to have a resolution in the next few days. I hate having unpleasantness hanging over my head, because it threatens to spiral downward into depression and we don’t want that, do we? Must stay upbeat!
